Introduction
With the hosting of the Olympic Games in August and September 2024, many foreign companies are planning to send employees to France during the Games.
However, most of these companies are not aware that they cannot send their employees to France without complying with a certain number of specific rules, the violation of which can result in serious financial penalties.
First, these companies must comply with the rules governing secondment, including filing a pre-declaration, appointing a representative in France and apply a certain number of provisions of French employment law.
Secondly, these companies must obtain a work permit for employees who are not citizens of the European Union.
